California Summer

As summer 2025 slowly comes to an end in the Northern Hemisphere, it feels like the perfect time to remember the warmth of California’s summer days.

I was fortunate to be invited to the launch of SpaceX’s Transporter-14 rideshare mission at Vandenberg Space Force Base, about a two-and-a-half-hour drive north of Los Angeles in Santa Barbara County on the California coast. Since orbital launches are somewhat unpredictable, I had planned a few extra days to explore the surrounding area before spending time in Los Angeles and heading back home.

I shot all the following pictures along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), somewhere between Morro Bay and Santa Barbara, as well as in Los Angeles.
